Green Chicken Curry

Ingredients

  • 500gm Chicken pieces/Poultry
  • ½ bunch Green coorainder leaves
  • 2 flakes Garlic
  • 1 medium sized Ginger
  • 1 tbs Garam masala powder
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 2 black cardamom
  • 1tbs Mustard seeds
  • 1 tbs Cummin Seeds
  • 4-5 Green chillies
  • 2 Medium Onions
  • 1 tbs turmeric powder
  • 4 Bay leaves
  • 1tbs brown coorainder powder
  • 2-3 tbs oil
  • tomato 1
  • cloves 4

Method

1) Chop Onion & tomato into sharp pieces.

2)Heat oil, add mustard seeds, half of the cummin seeds, 1 Garlic flake -allow the seeds to pop add Garlic and fry till light brown.

3) Add pieces of cleaned Chicken and fry, add turmeric. Add one stick of Cinnamon, 1 flake of cardamom and all bay leaves and chopped tomato.Keep mixing. Add salt as per the taste. Put half glass of water and let it cook for 10 mins.

4)In the mean time Mix coorainder leaves, Ginger, 1 Garlic flake, all other remaining items and grind them to a paste.

5) Add the paste to cooking chicken and cook for 10 more mins.

Serve it with rice or Bread!!
