Method

  • 1. peel and core apples and slice. Place in a oven to tableware dish.

  • 2. Sprinkle with demerara sugar,
  • 3. wash blackberries and place in dish.
  • 4.Then to make topping, rub butter and flour
  • until it resembles breadcrumbs.
  • 5.and caster sugar and oats
  • 6.mix together add nuts if using.
  • 7.Spoon mixture over fruit
  • 8.cook in oven gas mark 6 for 45minutes

    • 4oz unsalted lurpak
    • 8 cooking apples
    • 4oz plain flour
    • 4oz  caster sugar
    • 4oz  rolled oats
    • handful toasted walnuts or peacans
