1. Lightly grease tins and line bottoms with baking parchment
2. Combine all the cake ingredients in a large bowl and beat well until smooth approx 2 mins
3.Divide the mixture between the two tins and smooth top. Bake in oven 180c for about 25 mins until cakes are golden and springy to the touch
4. Take cakes out of tins and put on wire racks peel off lining paper and leave to cool
5. Whip cream and put on bottom layer of cake
6. Slice strawberries and put on top of cream put other layer of cake on top and sprinkle with caster sugar
7. If you want to be really decadent you can put cream and more sliced strawberries on top of cake as well!!!!
