Method

  • Mix 2 tblspns of the juice with the cornflour.
  • Place the cherries in a saucepan with the lemon and Kirsch or CherryBrandy.
  • Stir in the cornflour mixture and heat gently, stirring, until the juice thickens to the consistency of double cream.

  • While still hot, pour over vanilla icecream and top with the flake or chocolate
  • Ingredients

    • 1 can Black cherries in juice
    • 2 tsp cornflour
    • 2 tblsp Kirsch or Cherry Brandy
    •  vanilla ice cream
    •  Chocolate Flakes or grated chocolate to decorate
