Method
Mix 2 tblspns of the juice with the cornflour.
Place the cherries in a saucepan with the lemon and Kirsch or CherryBrandy.
Stir in the cornflour mixture and heat gently, stirring, until the juice thickens to the consistency of double cream.
While still hot, pour over vanilla icecream and top with the flake or chocolate

- 1 can Black cherries in juice
- 2 tsp cornflour
- 2 tblsp Kirsch or Cherry Brandy
- vanilla ice cream
- Chocolate Flakes or grated chocolate to decorate
