Marinated Beef Steaks

Method

  • Place the beef steak in a baking dish. Then in a small bowl, combine ingredients for the marinade. Pour marinade over steak and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, turning occasionally.
  • Preheat broiler. Remove steak from marinade, pat dry and sprinkle with additional freshly ground pepper. Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat 4 to 7 minutes on each side for medium-well done, or 3 to 5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  • Slice it thin, diagonally across the grain. Serve warm and enjoy!

    • 1 ½ pound flank beef steak. 1 inch thick
    •  Freshly ground pepper to taste
    • MARINADE
    • 2 tsp vegetable oil
    • 3 tsp tarragon or Wine Vinegar
    • ½ cup dry red wine
    • 3 cloves garlic. crushed
    • 3 tsp minced parsley
    • 1 tsp oregano
    • 1 tsp tarragon
    • 1 bay leaf
    • 1 tsp black pepper. crushed
