Champagne Sorbet

Method

  • 1. Put the sugar and water into a pan and stir until the sugar has dissolved.
  • 2. Bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes, to form a light syrup.
  • 3. Pour in the Champagne and cold water, stir and allow to cool for 20 minutes.
  • 4. Pour into a plastic container and place in the freezer. Stir with a fork every 30 minutes to prevent ice crystals forming.
  • 5. Freeze until firm and remove from the freezer just before serving.
  • Ingredients

    • FOR THE SALAD
    • 400g Sugar
    • 500ml Champagne
    • 500ml Water
    • 500ml Cold Water
