1, Heat 1 tbsp oil in frying pan, add pork a little at a time (if you add it all at once it will stew not fry). Fry pork until sealed all over, add onion until soft.
2, Add stock cubes, cider and apples. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 mins or until tender.
3, Mix 1tsp flour or corn flour to a paste with cold water. Add to sauce at least 10 mins before end of cooking to aid thickening.
Tips
Try adding a stick of celery and/or half a chopped leek to the pan when softening the onion.
Serve with rice or alternatively potato and swede mash!
