Method

  • Preheat oven to 180 C. butter and line 20cm square pan.

  • Cream butter and sugar, add eggs gradually, beating well after each addition.

  • Add maltesers alternately with flour and milk, stir gently until just combined and mixture is almost smooth.

  • Spoon mix into tin and smooth surface. Bake for 25min. Leave to stand for 10 min before turning out.

  • Make icing by melting choc, and beating together with cream cheese and honey.

  • Ice and decorate with broken Maltesers.

    • 125g Butter
    • 1/3 cup Caster Sugar
    • 2 Eggs (beaten)
    • 100g Maltesers cut roughly in ½
    • 2/3cup Plain Flour (sieved)
    • 1/3 cup Self raising flour (sieved)
    • 1tbsp Cocoa Powder
    • ¼ cup Milk
    •  
    • ICING
    • 50g White Chocolate
    • 100g Cream Cheese
    • 2tsp Honey
