Method

  • Melt fat, add flour, cook 2/3mins. Add stock and bring slowly to boil. Add milk, chopped mushrooms, seasonings. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Cool slightly and then blend. Taste for correct seasoning and if a little thick add a little more stock.
  • Ingredients

    • 50 gms margarine
    • 50gm plain flour
    • 20fl oz stock
    • 10floz milk
    • 250gm mushrooms
    •  seasonings
