Method

  • 1 . Drain fruit salad and soak fruit in 2 cups of brandy overnight.

  • 2. Take ice cream out of freezer and allow to soften.

  • 3. In a large punchbowl, combine the fruit salad/brandy mixture with 2 cups more of brandy and half a bottle of the gin.

  • 4. Add one of the bottles of ginger ale.

  • 5. Carefully spoon the ice cream over the top.

  • 6. Sprinkle the nutmeg and cinnamon over the top, serve.

  • 7. One lot will not be enough - so top up with alcohol as the night progresses

    • 30 oz Tropical fruit salad
    • 1 bottle Brandy
    • 1 bottle Gin
    • 4 tubs Vanilla ice cream
    • 2 x 2 litre Bottles ginger ale
    •  Ground nutmeg
    •  Ground cinnamon

    A very alcoholic punch - great for any party
