1 . Drain fruit salad and soak fruit in 2 cups of brandy overnight.
2. Take ice cream out of freezer and allow to soften.
3. In a large punchbowl, combine the fruit salad/brandy mixture with 2 cups more of brandy and half a bottle of the gin.
4. Add one of the bottles of ginger ale.
5. Carefully spoon the ice cream over the top.
6. Sprinkle the nutmeg and cinnamon over the top, serve.
7. One lot will not be enough - so top up with alcohol as the night progresses
