Melt butter slowly in bowl over saucepan of water. Sift cocoa and castor sugar. Add to butter, stirring constantly. Remove bowl from heat. Add cream and yolk. Line oblong tin with greaseproof paper. Pour thin layer of chocolate mix over. Cover with layer of biscuits, etc. Ending with chocolate mix. Put in fridge for at least 1 hour. (Biscuits dipped in sweet sherry or rum improve it)
