Ingredients
- FOR THE CAKES:
- 130g self raising flour
- 130g room temperature butter
- 130g golden caster sugar
- 70g Horlicks or other malt drink
- 2/3 tsp baking powder
- 2 large eggs
- 3 tbsp whole milk
- 3 tbsp boiling water
- FOR THE GANACHE:
- 150g good quality dark chocolate
- 150 ml double cream
- FOR DECORATION:
- 2 packets of Maltesers

I am going to make this someday, lock all the doors and devour it! What a beautiful creation, incredibly indulgent but life is short and we owe to ourselves to experience a cake like this!... Best of luck in the Malteser competition!
