The Basics

Ingredients

  • 10 oz. Sugar
  • 8 oz. Butter
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp. Condensed Milk
  • 2 cups Plain Flour
  • 2 cups Cornflakes
  • ½ lb. Sultanas
  • 1 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp. Bicarbonate of Soda
  • 1 cup Coconut

Method

1. Beat the sugar, butter and egg together.
2. Add the milk to this cream mixture.
3. Bind together with rest of the
ingredients.
4. Roll into small balls, flatten and place
apart on greased tray.
5. Bake in moderate oven for 15-20 minutes.
Makes 50-60 biscuits.
