Method
1. Cover ham with water and bring to boil.
(20 minutes per pound)
2. Simmer for half the cooking time.
3. Take out and remove rind.
4. Push in 12 slithers of garlic.
5. Dot with garlic.
6. Cover with black treacle.
7. Sprinkle with powdered cinnamon.
8. Cover with sliced onion.
9. Wrap in foil. Bake slowly for rest of
cooking time at 300 F.
10. Leave till cold.
