Ingredients
- 2½oz parmesan cheese
- 2 small heads of cos lettuce
- 3oz cut into cubes french bread
- 4 slices smoked bacon
- 2 just hardboiled eggs sliced
- 3 chicken breasts sliced
- FOR THE DRESSING
- 1 garlic clove crushed
- 4 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 anchovies
- 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
- to Taste salt and black pepper
- 1 oz grated parmesan cheese
Method
- Slice chicken and cook in a griddle or frying pan until golden.
- Fry off bacon until nicely crisp, crumble and set aside with chicken, cover with foil to keep warm.
- Heat 4 tbsp of oil in pan, add bread cubes and garlic. Fry until golden brown, drain on kitchen paper and discard the garlic.
- Place the lettuce into a large salad bowl, tearing any large leaves.
- To make the dressing blend ingredients together - it should be yoghurty in consistency. Pour oevr the leaves and toss and then add the chicken and bacon with the sliced eggs, then the cheese and bread croutons.
- toss lightly and serve.

- 1 Sweet baby cos lettuce
- ½ pack Tesco Make a Meal With Bacon-topped Chicken
- 30ml Caesar Salad Dressing
- 25g croutons
- 10g Parmesan
- 1 medium free-range egg
- Pinch Black pepper
Method
- - Put a small pan of water on to boil
- - Tear lettuce into large pieces
- - Slice the Bacon-topped Chicken and mix together with the lettuce and the Caesar salad dressing
- - Add croutons and shave Parmesan on top of the salad
- - Once the water has boiled, lower to a simmer. Break the egg into a cup and gentle pour into the water – avoiding breaking the yoke
- - Simmer for approx 4 minutes until the white is firm but the yoke still soft.
- - Drain the egg, place on the salad, grind fresh black pepper on top and serve.

- 4 Birds Eye Original Chargrill Chicken
- 1 large bag mixed green salad
- 2 thick slices white bread (cubed and shallow fried in 2dsp olive oil)
- 25g Fresh Parmesan (thinly sliced or grated)
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tbsp. fresh basil (chopped) or ½ tsp of dried basil
- Pepper
Method
- 1. Cook the Birds Eye Chargrill Chicken to pack instructions until piping hot and cooked right through
- 2. Slice the Chargrill Chicken into bite size pieces. Mix with salad, top with croutons and parmesan
- 3. Mix the olive oil with the chopped basil and pour over

i agree it's not really healthy, i proposed it as a meal at my stables (im a perminant boarder) but they said it was too unhealthy, looks great though if nothing else, i wish i could have made it
