- 1. Cook noodles in lge pan of salted water, according to instuctions on the packet.
- 2. Thinly slice onion and garlic cloves.
- 3. Finely chop ginger.
- 4. Slice mangetout in 1/2 lenthways.
- 5. Shred chicken.
- 6. Stir fry onion in a wok for a few mins.
- 7. Add garlic, ginger, beansprouts, and mangetout.
- 8. Stir fry for a minute.
- 9. Drain noodles when ready, and add to wok.
- 10. Add chicken and soy sauce, stir fry for 2 mins.
- 11. Add sweet chilli sauce and serve immediately.

- 9oz medium egg noodles
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 garlic cloves,peeled and finely chopped
- 4 chicken breasts,cut into thin strips
- 1 large red pepper,cut into thin strips
- 4oz canned sweetcorn
- 8 spring onions,cut into thin strips
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
Method
- Place a large pan of water on the hob to boil.Add the egg noodles,and boil for about 4 minutes,drain well and rinse under cold water,then set aside.
- Heat both oils in a large saucepan or wok.Add the garlic and stir fry for about 30 seconds.
- Add the chicken and stir fry over a medium heat for 5 mins or until just cooked.Remove from the pan with a slotted spoon and set aside on a plate.
- Add the pepper to the pan and stir fry for 4 mins.
- Add the sweetcorn and stir fry for 1 min.
- Add the spring onions and stir fry for 1 min,then return the chicken and noodles to the pan.
- Add the soy sauce and heat through,tossing to mix for 2 mins.Serve straight away.

i love chicken chow mein, and cant wait to try this sound nicw
Ingredients
- 2 breasts chicken
- 2 cloves garlic
- handful spring onions
- handful mange tout
- 2-3 tbls light soy sauce
- 2 tbls dark soy sauce
- 2 blocks noodles
- handful bean sprouts
Method
- Cut chicken into thin slices and put in bowl with light soy sauce, leave to marinade while you cut garlic, spring onions, mangetout.
- Cook noodles according to packet and then strain in colander and run under cold water to stop them sticking together.
- When everything is prepared, heat a wok up with a tablespoon of vegetable oil in it until very hot. add chicken with the soy sauce and cook for couple of minutes, add garlic and mangetout, cook for a further minute, once chicken is cooked, add bean-sprouts, noodles, spring onions and dark soy sauce.
