Ingredients
- 800g Fresh cranberries
- 400g Granulated sugar
- 2 Juice and zest of oranges
Method
- 1. Add the juice, zest and sugar to a pan over a medium to high heat. Cook until the sugar dissolves.
- 2. Add the cranberries and cook for 10-20 minutes until the berries have reduced down (boiling rapidly to thicken and concentrate the sauce).

- 500g (1lb 2oz) fresh cranberries or frozen ones. thawed
- 2 bramley apples. peeled. cored and cut into chunks
- 150g (5 ½oz) golden caster sugar
- stick of cinnamon
Method
- Preheat your oven to 190C/gas 5. Place all the ingredients in a wide saucepan and add a splash of water. Put the pan on the heat and bring to the boil.
- Simmer gently until the cranberries have burst and the apple has softened.
- Boil down until the mixture thickens slightly, then take off the heat and leave to cool before serving.
