      This reminds me of my freind, when she came to visit, she used to make this chilli chicken with lemon. Was my favourite dish :-)

    Ingredients

    • 4 skinless chicken breasts – cut into bite-size pieces
    • 1 egg white – lightly beaten
    • 2 garlic cloves – peeled and finely chopped
    • 2 tablespoons Potato flour
    • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil – for frying
    • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
    •  
    • GARNISH
    • 1 lemon – cut into slices.
    • 1 spring onion – chopped diagonally into 1.5 cm lengths

    Method

    1. 1) Combine the chicken pieces with the egg white, juice and lemon juice, garlic and potato flour in a bowl. Chill in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.
    2. 2) Heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan until moderately hot. Add the chicken pieces in batches and stir fry them quickly in the oil to keep them from sticking.
    3. 3) Return the first batch of cooked chicken to the frying pan. Add the spring onions and garnish with lemon slices.

      Ingredients

      • 4 skinless chicken breasts , cut into bite-size pieces
      • 1 egg white , lightly beaten
      • 2 garlic cloves , peeled and finely chopped
      • 2 tbsp. potato flour
      • 4 tbsp. vegetable oil , for frying
      • 1 Zest and juice of lemon
      • 1 lemon , cut into slices
      • 1 spring onion ,chopped diagonally into 1.5 cm lengths

      Method

      1. This is one of my favourite Pesach chicken dishes as it ticks all the boxes for the ideal family evening meal ~ quick to make, requires few ingredients and more over very tasty and everyone loves it!

        Ingredients

        • 4 Skinned chicken breasts
        • 4 Tablespoons Honey
        •  Juice of half a Lemon
        •  Juice of a big orange
        • 1 Tablespoon Soy sauce

        Method

        1. 1.Preheat the oven to Gas mark 2/150oC/300oF.

        2. 2. Grease a shallow baking dish.

        3. 3. Rub a spoonful of honey into each peice of chicked and lay them in the baking dish.

        4. 4. Mix the Orange juice, the Lemon juice and the soy sauce. If desired, season the sauce with salt and pepper, then pour over the chicken.

        5. 5. Cover the baking dish with tinfoil and bake the chicken for about 40 mins.

        6. 6. Push a skewer into the chicken. To test if it is cooked, no pink juice should run out.

        7. 7. Serve the chicken with the sauce poured over.

        8. 8. Eat with rice.
