    Ingredients

    • 14oz Sandwich cake mix
    • 1 tbspn self raising flour
    • ½ tspn mixed spice
    • 2 oz Saltanas
    • 2 oz peel. mixed and chopped (optional)
    • 2 oz chopped walnuts

    Method

    1. 1. Pre-heat the oven to 325 f/160 c, gas mark 3. Then line a tin 7 1/2 x 3 1/4 x 2 1/4
    2. 2. Mix all the ingredients together and bake for an hour.

      • 4oz marj
      • 6oz caster sugar
      • 6oz  Self raising flour
      • 1tea spoon baking powder
      • 3 eggs
      • 4 tablespoons milk
      • 2 lemons
      • 4oz  granulated sugar

      Method

      1. Put marj, caster, flour, baking powder, eggs,milk & rind from the lemons into a bowl & mix well until smooth.

      2. Line loaf tin & pour mixture in,

      3. Put into oven 180

      4. Topping
      5. Put lemon juice (from the 2 lemons) into a bowl with Granulated sugar & stir.

      6. Put topping on loaf as soon as it comes out of the oven. Leave in tin until cold

        Ingredients

        • 1 cup All-Bran
        • 1 cup raisins/saltanas
        • 1 cup brown sugar
        • 1 cup milk
        • 1 cup self-raising flour

        Method

        1. Mix all ingredients EXCEPT the flour and leave over night in the fridge. Add the flour the next day. Pour into a loaf tin and cook in the over at about 190/5
