Sausage casserole recipes

Ingredients
- SAUSAGE CASSEROLE
- 6 sausages
- 1 can of baked beans
- 1 large onion
- 3 large tomatoes
- 1 tsp mustard
- ½ clove of garlic
- ¼ red pepper (optional)
- 1 Colmans sausage casserole mix
Method
- smother the sausages in the mustard and cook the sausages separately till half done.
- Then chop the onion into large chunks, finely dice the pepper, cut the tomatoes into chunks and add all the ingredients together with the sausages which should be cut into 4 chunks per sausage, stir well to mix everything with the baked beans.
- Cook in the oven at temperature 180 for 45 minutes, but check the casserole every 15 minutes and stir.

- 1 lb sausages
- 1 onion. chopped
- butter for frying
- 2 cans Tomato Soup
- 1 tin chopped tomatoes
- A dash Worcester sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- to taste salt and pepper
- 250g pasta
Method
- 1. Pre heat the oven to 180C.
- 2. Melt butter in large pot and add the chopped onions and saute until soft and translucent.

- 3. Add the sliced sausages and brown for a few minutes stirring occasionally to brown both sides and then season with salt and pepper
- 4. Add 2 cans of tomato soup and a dash of Worcester sauce

- 5. Cover and let cook for 20 minutes in the oven

- 6. Add cooked pasta and sprinkle with cheddar cheese and cook for a further 10 minutes letting the cheese melt.

Ingredients
- enough to cover sausages boiled water from the kettle
- 2 tins heinz tomato soup
- 5-6 medium mushrooms
- enough for mash for everyone potatoes
- for the mash milk
- for the mash butter/marg
- 3-4 per person sausages
- couple of teaspoons bisto
Method
- Put sausages into the biggest saucepan you have, por over boiled water just enough to cover the sausages and heat on medium flame. Leave these for about 10-15 minutes then add the tins of soup, this can be left to simmer for about 20mins then add a teaspoon of beef bisto or other gravy granules leave for five minutes to mix in fully then taste. You may need to put two or three in til you get the nice mix. Add mushrooms about half an hour before the finish and set your potatoes boiling at the same time.
- The longer the casserole cooks on a low heat the tastier and richer the sauce will be, you can add any other veg you want with this

I suggest also that you serve this with a large helping of mashed potato and a side helping of BBQ sauce!
