Ingredients
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 cup parsley , chopped
- 2 tsp. tarragon
- 800g sausagemeat
- 2 packs ready-rolled puff pastry
- 2 beaten egg
- salt and pepper
Method
- 1. Heat oven to 200C/fan 180C/gas 6.
- 2. Crush the garlic and combine it with the parsley, tarragon and sausage meat.
- 3. Stir in some water and seasone with salt and pepper.
- 4. Unroll the both packet of pastry onto a board and cut in half lengthways.
- 5. Divide the sausage mixture in four and spread along the length of each pastry strip, leaving a 1cm edge.
- 6. Roll the pastry around the sausagemeat and brush the edge with the beaten egg to secure.
- 7. Cut each roll into pieces, each about 3-5cm long, and place on a baking sheet.
- 8. Brush the pastry with the remaining eggs.
- 9. Place in the oven and cook for 40 mins until the pastry is puffed and crisp and the meat has cooked through.

- 4 thin sausages
- ½ small carrot
- ½ small zucchini
- ½ cup grated cheese
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry
Method
- Preheat oven to 180c line a large baking tray with baking paper.
- Squeeze sausage meat out of skins into a large bowl and add carrot, zucchini and grated cheese. season to taste and mix well to combine.
- Cut pastry sheet in half down the centre of each piece.
- Fold edges in and overlap to secure.
- Use a large sharp knife to cut each roll into 4 pieces .
- Place on prepared baking tray and bake for 45 mins approx or until cooked and golden.
- Serve the tomato or bbq sauce if desired

- 1 jus-rol sheet of puff pastry
- 1 packet of sausage meat
- 1 egg beaten for brushing
Method
- cut the sausage meat into equal thirds.
- place one third of the sausage meat on to the edge of the puff pastry.
- stretch out the sausage meat to make it the same length as the puff pastry.
- roll the puff pastry to cover the sausage meat.
- cut off that section of puff pastry and sausage meat.
- repeat previous steps for the other 2/3 of sausage meat.
- then cut out seven sausage rolls on each line of sausage meat and puff pastry.
- brush on the egg to each sausage roll.
- Finally, place rolls on a greased tray an cook in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

i just use ordinary sausages for sausage rolls....just take the skins off first..
