With all the oil money in the world, there's still nothing like a good kebab...

      1. 1.Roughly chop the lettuce, parsley and mint.

      2. 2.Brush lamb with olive oil and garlic.

      3. 3.Cook the lamb on a barbecue, griddle plate or heavy frying pan until done.

      4. 4.Warm the flat breads in the oven then assemble by placing the lamb on the bread, spread with yogurt and scatter with the lettuce mixture and tomatoes.

At primary school for our Christmas party, everyone had to bring a dish. My mum made sheesh kebabs. My teacher loved them and you will too.

        1. 1. Add all ingredients to the mince and mix well.
        2. 2. Mould the meat around the skewers and squeeze the meat tightly to hold firmly in place.
        3. 3. Put skewers into the grill for 15 minutes rotating ever 5 minutes.
        4. 4. Remove from skewers and garnish with fresh coriander and a squeeze of lemon juice on top!

These Sheesh Kebabs work really well on the barbecue as well.
