African Recipes

African cooking is generally done by women, outside the main living space and in large pots filled with meats, vegetables and spices. Having said that, there are numerous different types of African recipe with big differences between Moroccan Recipes, North African Recipes and South African Recipes. Moroccan Recipes are normally quite spicy and one of the most famoust dishes is the tagine. South African recipes however are very different from their North African counterparts with european influences. Famous South African recipes include boerewors, sosaties and milk tart.
