Autumn Foods
Question: I want to cook something that has seasonal produce in it but which kids will love. Any idea?

A few things spring to mind. How about some lovely apple and blackberry crumble? Or perhaps an apple cake? Mussels are in season now, but perhaps not very child friendly - depends on their taste.

fresh sweetcorn is in season - what about putting some on the bbq or just boil in so they can eat it with their fingers or as a kebab with skewers - fun way to get them to eat veg. Melon is in too - perhaps a variety of melon balls with other seasonal fruits (good one for the 5 aday) or again on the bbq with feta cheese as a kebab.
