Ideas for an Indian themed dinner?
Question: Hi, I'd like to have an Indian themed dinner at home, with a few different dishes, along the line of a Thali. Do you have any ideas for dishes that would work well together, including a couple of veggie dishes. Thanks!

Hiya I'm off to RAKA where I live for an Indian Banquet tonight, coincidentally...they do a brilliant 3 course meal for £11! I get a lot of inspiration for yummy dishes from here...so how about some split pea dal and peshawari nan, mushroom samosas, vegetarian biryani, chana masala (chick peas).....again, as a vegetarian, these are my staple faves!

takka dall (my favourite), saag aloo, Veg biriani, chicken Korma and lots of rice and naan bread - that's what I would do.
