Question: The response to my call for recipes for an Oakhaven fund-raising cookbook has been brilliant – cheers, everyone who made a contribution. One thing I realised early on while working on this book: there is absolutely no doubt about it, Oakhaven supporters really enjoy their desserts. Banana loaf was especially popular. In fact three of you posted recipes for your own version of this traditional teatime treat. So it makes perfect sense to concentrate on recipes for all things sweet. Just Desserts from Oakhaven the special cookbook we made together, is now ready for ordering. However do continue to add your tempting recipes to the Oakhaven group as we can always update the book in the future. A big thank-you for all your efforts, from Hampshire Hog.
