Dad's Russian Salad
Question: I went into BT Centre restaurant yesterday and had Moomin's Dad's Russian Salad - it was great and we added a twist - we put chicken slices on top to make it a main meal - it made me remember salad cream which I haven't had in ages Don't forget to vote for your favourite of the five dishes of the week cos that one gets my vote Monday - Provencal Style chicken - Martin and Winter warming sausage - Watchman Tuesday - Butternut squash risotto - Middled4 Wednesday - Pasta Amatricana - Barry Thursday- Dad's Russian Salad - Moomin Friday - Chicken with honey & mustard - Haggis Stalker

I tried it too and it was very tasty. I had it with tuna so it was a sort of Russian Niscois. This dish is light so would be a good lunch in the summer with friends, especially with a glass or two of dry white wine(Sauv Blanc or Pinot Grigio)! It gets my vote along with the risotto.
