Oakhaven needs your recipes - please post them now
Question: I would like to welcome everyone to the Oakhaven group on Mydish. United by a desire to support Oakhaven hospice over the coming months I look forward to creating an Oakhaven fund-raising cookbook with you. We are so lucky here on the Hampshire coast. We produce some of the finest produce in Britain. Every season has something outstanding from delicate spears of asparagus in the spring to the robust flavour of venison in winter. Our strawberries are famously served at Wimbledon. Isle of Wight tomatoes are renowned throughout the country. These are the raw ingredients of some fabulous dishes - your starting point for loads of exciting recipes. So, please post lots of your favourite recipes. Don't forget to include pictures and a couple of lines about what each dish means to you. Did you first eat it at a family gathering? Did your best friend teach you to make it? I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for your contributions.
