Favourite traditional recipes?
Question: Hi All, I was wondering what your favourite country recipes are? For some reason, when I think of Traditional English recipes, I always imagine autumnal food! Have you got any great traditional recipes for the summer? But saying that.... it feels like autumn today anyway ;o)

Hi, Sorry I haven't replied sooner, spent the summer in the South of France. My favourite Country recipe has got to be Spinnach, Ricotta & Pine nut pie. It's really easy to make, I use ready rolled shortcrust pastry, Mix the spinnach with the ricotta and the toasted pine nuts, put it all in the pie base and put the lid on, cook it in the oven and serve warm with veg. Great on a cold winter night. will try to put the full recipe on my page for you. peter
