Chunky Chicken and Vegetable Soup

Method

  • First of all prepare all your veg, dice the onion, and then cut all the carrots and potatoes chunky. Using a saucepan put a little oil in with the onions until softened for about 3 minutes with a little garlic. Whilst you are doing that, cook off the chicken breast, once you have all that sorted, put 2 pints of water into the saucepan with all your diced veg, add dried herbs,cracked black pepper, and maybe some worcestershire sauce to bring it even more life. Simmer for about an hour, once its cooked, serve with chunky bread and butter! Enjoy!

    • Hi, I tried this and it is so quick and easy to make the only change I made was to use a Knorr chicken stockpot instead of a cube. It was a really flavoursome soup and just the thing for a supper dish .

    This is such a great recipe, the flavours are absolutely amazing. I actually came up with the idea, i'm 17 years old, and i absolutely love cooking. Hope you all like it! :)
