Method

  • Fry chicken livers with one medium chopped onion and 2 cloves garlic in 2 oz butter for 15 mins. Remove from heat, add 1 tbsp brandy and further 2 oz butter. Liquidize & chill in ramakin or similar dish. This can be served with crackers, toast or salad. It is a very good starter as it can be prepared days in advance and tastes better if made at least 1 day in advance
