Method

  • If you have a steamer, this is the best way to cook your vegetables.
  • 1. Steam the carrots for a few minutes then add the mange tout. Steam for a couple more minutes or until they both still retain some crunch!
  • 2. Place in a serving dish, grind over some black pepper and top with a knob of butter.
  • Ingredients

    • 2 lb Young Carrots, topped, tailed, scrubbed and halved lengthways
    • 2-3 packs Mange tout
    • knob Butter
    •  Ground black pepper
