- 1lb Spicy Sausages
- 4 Tomatoes
- 1 Cooking Apple
- 4-6 ozs Cheese
- Mashed potatoes

Skin sausages and put sausagemeat into bottom of ovenproof dish and flatten. Place sliced tomatoes on top, then cover with sliced apple. Place grated cheese on top of apple and cover the lot with mashed potato. Put in preheated oven (180o – Gas No 4) for at least 1 hour until the potato is crispy and brown and apple is soft (sausage will be cooked within the hour). Is perfectly acceptable to eat on its own or you can serve with crusty bread and/or your choice of vegetable.
