I made this recipe recently and it is gorgeous and very light. It is delicious on its own or as my husband will vouch for with custard. I am going to try this recipe with apples as I have my own cooking apple tree and see how it turns out.
I have made this cake seveal times - in fact when I have over ripe bananas which would normally have got binned!!! I always double up the recipe and make a large cake. It is so easy and quick and everyone enjoys it. thanks
