Nederburg Cabernet Sauvignon Rose

Nederburg Cabernet Sauvignon Rose

This beautiful rose wine is made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, fruit driven, refreshing with abundance of berry flavours and a pleasant long finish.

Description

This special blini is just like having home made bread and just as tasty. No filling necessary - just serve with sour cream.

Method

  1. 1

    1. Combine yeast, sugar, and warm water in a 1-cup glass measuring cup, let stand 5 minutes.

    2. Combine flours and salt in a large bowl, make a well in center.

    3. Beat egg yolks lightly in a small bowl, add yeast mixture, milk, and butter.
    4. Add to dry ingredients, stirring with a whisk until mixture is smooth.
    5. Cover with a tea towel. Let mixture stand at room temperature 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

    6. Stir mixture to eliminate air bubbles.

    7. Beat egg whites at high speed with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form, fold into batter.

    8. Drop blini batter by tablespoonfuls onto a hot, lightly greased griddle.

    9. Cook until tops are covered with bubbles and edges look cooked, turn and cook until lightly browned.
    10. Serve with sour cream and salmon.
