Ingredients: 400g Tin of chick peas. drained; 400g Tin of Chopped Tomatoes; 1 White Onion (chopped); 2 garlic cloves. crushed; 1cm Fresh root ginger . chopped finely; 1 tsp Dhaniya (ground coriander) powder; 1 tsp Jeera ( cumin seeds ); fresh chilli/chilli powder/died chilli; 1 tbsp olive oil

Indian Side Dish

Ingredients

400g Tin of chick peas. drained
400g Tin of Chopped Tomatoes
1 White Onion (chopped)
2 garlic cloves. crushed
1cm Fresh root ginger . chopped finely
1 tsp Dhaniya (ground coriander) powder
1 tsp Jeera ( cumin seeds )
fresh chilli/chilli powder/died chilli
1 tbsp olive oil

Method

1. Add onion to saucepan with olive oil fry for 2-3 mins
2. Add garlic and ginger and cook for 2 mins
3. Add dried spices and cook for 1 min
4. Add both tins and simmer until onions are tender
5. Optional - add salt & pepper, and fresh coriander
