- 1Kg Lamb medium pieces

- 1tsp Garlic paste
- To taste Salt
- 2 tsp Mace flour
- 1 -2 tsp Chilli powder (Depends on mild to hot)
- Β½ tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- Β½ tsp Paprika powder
- ΒΌ tsp Funnel seeds
- ΒΌ tsp cumin seeds
- Β½ tsp black pepper
- 1tsp Brown sugar
- 4-5 Green cardamom
- 2 Black cardamoms
- ΒΌ tsp Nutmeg
- 3 bay leaves
- 1 Cinnamon stick

This is a classic slow cooked stewed lamb curry recipe
Method

1. Heat Oil in think bottom pan
2. Add all dry ingredients and fry for few minutes
3. Add the chopped onion and fry it turns to light brown and add the salt
4. Then add the lamp and fry for 3-4 minutes and add one glass of water and cover the pot and keep a weight on the lid or use pressure cooker (I prefer to use pressure cooker)
5. Cook on very low heat until the meat is completely tender. Which is about 2-3 hours
6. Dissolve the mace in one cup of water and pour to the pan. Mix the flour finally in the gravy. Then cover it and cook on low heat for another 30 minutes.
7. Serve with rice or any kind of bread.
