- 4 fl oz chicken stock
- 1 garlic cloves. crushed
- 1 sprig Tyme
- 4 Potatoes large
- 5oz butter

Peal potatoes and cut into thick slices.
Heat the butter in a saucepan over a medium heat.
until foaming.
Add Garlic, thyme and potatoes.
Fry potatoes for 3-5 minutes on each side, or
Add a little of the stock and bring to a simmer, then add more stock to just cover.
Simmer.
Cover pan with a lid and continue to simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
