- 4 oz Glace cherries
- 2 Ripe mashed bananas
- 8 oz Plain flour (brown or white)
- 6 oz Soft brown sugar
- 4 oz Margarine
- 2 Large eggs
- 2 tspn Baking powder

Heat oven to 180 degrees C. Line 2lb loaf tin with silicone paper.Sift flour into a bowl add margarine sugar,beaten egg and mashed banana and mix thoroughly (with electric mixer). Add halved cherries and mix. Pour into prepared cake tin and level surface. Bake until cooked and cool in tin for 15 minutes before turning out and cooling completely.
