- 100g Dark Chocolate
- 50g butter
- 3 eggs
- 200g Caster sugar (normal or golden)
- 50g plain flour
- 25g cocoa powder
- 50g yoghurt
- 1 teasp baking powder
- 80g walnuts (chopped)
- For the Sauce
- 170g Dark Chocolate
- 50g unsalted butter
- 150ml water
- 100g caster sugar
- 2 tablespoon Ameretto liqueur

Warm crispy rich dark chocolate brownie serve with a chocolate Ameretto sauce is absolutely delicious.

1. Melt chocolate with butter in a bowl.
2. Whisk eggs and sugar till creamy. Add in flour with baking powder and cocoa, then stir in the chocolate mixture.
3. Stir in the chopped nuts and yoghurt.
4. Transfer the mixture into a greased lined 20cm. square tin and bake in oven Gas 3 / 140C for 45 minutes. When cooked, leave to cool slightly. Cut into squares.
To make the Sauce:
1.Melt chocolate, butter sugar and water in a pan.
2.Stir in the Ameretto liqueur to make a dark rich smooth chocolate sauce.
To Serve:Place a slice of warm brownie on a warm plate. Spoon over with warm Chocolate Ameretto sauce. Add a large scoop of vanilla ice cream. Decorate with a Physalis on top.
