It is useful to have some cocktail sticks and a polystyrene tray / block of florist's oasis or similar to use as a stand.
Melt the milk chocolate in a bowl over simmering water, or in a microwave. Leave to cool for 5 minutes. Put each marshmallow on a cocktail stick and dip in the melted chocolate, then poke into the stand and leave for about 15-20 minutes until semi-set.
Meanwhile, cut the giant chocolate buttons and white chocolate buttons in half and use them to make ears, sticking them together with a tiny blob of the melted chocolate used for dipping.
Make as many eyes as you need from the fondant.
Melt the white chocolate and drizzle or pipe a line across the standard chocolate buttons to make the mouth.
Put the faces together, holding the ears in place for 10-20 seconds.
Leave to dry completely, then remove the cocktail sticks (unless you wish to serve them on sticks) and enjoy.
Chef's Tips
Use lolly sticks instead of cocktail sticks to make 'marshmallow pops'.
You could use melted chocolate for the eyes instead of icing.
