Description
Not to be confused with a regular Canary Cocktail made with Advocaat, this is my own creation using Coriantolino, a liqueur from Rhodes in which coriander is infused with alcohol.

This recipe is really for those reading this on holiday in Rhodes or planning to go as the Coriantolino could be difficult to find elsewhere. If you brought back a bottle from the airport last time you were there and wondered what to do with it, or indeed what it is...now you have some answers!
Try to get the glass chilled before you pour the mixture in.
Put a Maraschino Cherry in the bottom of a Marie Antionette style champagne glass.
Mix everything else except the star anise in a cocktail shaker. Strain the ice whilst pouring. Sprinkle the star anise on top. Enjoy.
Thank you for your feedback, I'm glad that you enjoyed it. Many more eclectic cocktail recipes to follow :-)
