Nederburg Cabernet Sauvignon Rose

Nederburg Cabernet Sauvignon Rose

This beautiful rose wine is made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, fruit driven, refreshing with abundance of berry flavours and a pleasant long finish.

Description

This jelly cake recipe is great for children but also adults. Everyone who I have made it for just love it and want the recipe. Please try it for yourself, it really is so good.

Method

  1. 1

Squeeze juice from 2 lemons. Set aside.

  2. 2

Put biscuits in food processor to crush.

  3. 3

Melt butter and add to biscuits.

  4. 4

Press down "very firmly" in a lightly buttered tray.

  5. 5

Put in fridge till hardened up.

  6. 6

Dissolve gelatine in the hot water from kettle.

  7. 7

Pour in condensed milk and stir.

  8. 8

Pour in juice from 2 lemons. Stir like mad.

  9. 9

    Pour mixture onto biscuit base.

  10. 10

    Put in fridge till set.

  11. 11

    Dissolve jelly in boiling water.

  12. 12

    Add cold water.

  13. 13

    Leave jelly to cool.

  14. 14

    Pour over lemon mixture.

  15. 15

    Put in fridge till set.

  16. 16

    Cut into squares.

(Keep in fridge until eaten, which won't be long. You have to have patience to wait for each layer to set properly, don't be tempted to rush. It's well worth the wait, trust me)!

Oh and you don't have to stick to strawberry jelly, try your own favourite flavour. Pineapple is good!
