Ingredients
- Β½ pint Water
- ΒΎ cup caster sugar
- 2 eggs. beaten
- Β½ lb plain flour
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
- 1 tablespoon mixed spice
- 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
- ΒΌ lb margarine
- 1 lb mixed fruit
- 1 tablespoon treacle or golden syrup

Nederburg Cabernet Sauvignon Rose
This beautiful rose wine is made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, fruit driven, refreshing with abundance of berry flavours and a pleasant long finish.

~ Line a large microwave bowl with cling film (allow cling film to overlap edges.
~ Put water, sugar, mixed spice, cinnamon, mixed fruit, margarine and treacle or golden syrup into a large saucepan. Put on hob and bring to boil. Allow to simmer for 1 minute.
~ Remover from heat and mix in flour and bicarbonate of soda.
~ Add beaten eggs. Mix well.
~ Pour mixture into lined bowl. Do not cover bowl.
~ Cook for 9 minutes (650 watt oven) - adjust as necessary for other ovens.
~ When cooked leave to cool in bowl. Once cooled place a plate over top of microwave bowl and tip over. Remove cling film.
~ Dumpling can either be served straight away or for best result left for a few days before slicing.
~ Enjoy hot or cold with cream or custard.
