Nederburg Cabernet Sauvignon Rose

Nederburg Cabernet Sauvignon Rose

This beautiful rose wine is made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, fruit driven, refreshing with abundance of berry flavours and a pleasant long finish.

Description

Wimpys were the little brother of Clopps. Served at very similar times and with very similar accompaniments, a regular dish served by Nan. Like a best friend: nice and dependable

Method

  1. 1

    1. Rinse mince meat in cold water.
    2. Dry the mince meat with kitchen towel and place into bowl
    3. Peel and chop the onions & place into a blender and give it a good wizzzzz until the onion is very finely chopped 4. 4. Add the onion to the meat in the bowl together with the egg, salt and pepper to the mince.
    5. Mix all together for 1 or 2 minutes and then add enough matzo meal to make the mixture reasonably firm.
    6. Now for the fun part - Shape mince meat into portions of a rounded half β€˜burger’ size and place into oven dish and pour gravy (see gravy recipe) over mince mixture
    7. Cook at 180 degrees between 40/60 minutes.
    8. Once cooked, drain gravy and serve.

Chef's Tips

To dry the meat simply place between two sheets of kitchen towel and press gently.

These may be eaten imediately or allowed to cool down and re-heated when needed or even allow to cool down and freeze.
