- 1 tbsp splenda or granulated sweetener
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp splenda or sugar-free jam

Inspired by Tim Burton's upcoming film of the classic tale, these low-calorie tarts are perfect for a Mad Hatter's tea party

Preheat the oven to 190Β°C/170Β°C Fan/Gas Mark 5.
Sift the flour into a large bowl. Cut the butter and white fat into small pieces, add to the flour and rub in using your fingertips.
Stir in the sweetener and the egg yolk. Add 2-3 tbsp cold water to bring the dough together. Knead lightly until smooth.
Roll out the pastry to 5mm (ΒΌin) thick and using a 7cm/3in cutter, cut 18 rounds, re-rolling the pastry when necessary.
Place the rounds into an 18-hole tart tin and bake for 15-20 minutes until crisp.
Leave to cool and then spoon 2 tsp jam into each one before serving.
