1. Make the pastry by combining all the ingredients together for the Flan pastry and kneading into a ball and then roll it out and line a baking dish with the pastry.

Lard 1 oz.
Flour 4 oz.

Ground Almonds 2 oz.
Castor Sugar 2 oz.
