Origin Pinot Grigio Organic

The nation's favourite tipple in an organic bundle. A great value wine,Β from Italy's ever popular Pinot Grigio grape. This wine is perfectly balanced with juicy pear and peach notes and soft floral aromas

Description

I got this recipe from my mom in the States- it's one of those things she's been making for years. I'm not sure she has a written recipe so the proportions are a little vague!

Method

  1. 1

1 - Peel the squash and remove seeds and then bake
at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately 50 minutes or until soft.Bake the sweet potatoes or yams and remove the skins.

2- Mash the squash and potatoes together in a large bowl and mix in the spices.

3- Layer half of the squash/potato mixture in the bottom of a casserole dish. Next layer apple slices, half of the butter and more cinnamon.

4- Repeat both squash/potato layer followed by another layer of apple slices and butter.

5- Bake the casserole at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 minutes.

The proportion of squash/yams/sweet potatoes used in this recipe can be changed as desired.
