- 1 packet chocolate chip cookies
- Sherry
- 1 large tub double cream
- 1 cadbury Flake

My mum used to make this for dessert for dinner parties. If you ever went to our house for dinner in the ‘70s, this is what you would get!
Method

Whip the double cream and set aside.
Pour about an inch of sherry into a small bowl.
Dunk the cookies into the sherry until they are moist but still firm. the ingredients call for 1 packet of choc chip cpookies or we used to make sure there were 2 cookies per person
Sandwich them together with cream and continue until they form a log shape.
Use the remaining cream to cover the log, including the ends.
Crumble the Flake on top to decorate.
